  Early Tuesday morning, Sam’s bedroom




As much as I didn’t want my cell phone ringing, it was anyway, and it was Jack calling.
“What do you want, its 3 in the morning” I asked.
“EDDIE WANTS TO BREAK UP WITH ME, I MEAN HE WANTED ME TO BREAK UP WITH HIM AND I DON’T KNOW WHY,” he yelled “WE MADE UP FOR WHAT HAPPENED BEFORE, BUT HE WANTS TO BREAK UP!”
  “Calm down Jack, now tell me what happened” I said.
   “Okay, well were at my house and he stops when were making out and says “I want you to break up with me,” and I asked him why and he didn’t answer, and left.” “I been trying to call him but he wont answer.”
    “Okay Jack I’m coming over maybe we be able to work something out Okay, Also Jack is your mom there?” I asked.  
     “No she’s on a business meeting in Vancouver.”
      “Okay, just take some of your meds and I’ll be over.”  
     “I cant take any of my meds I don’t have anymore.”
     “Shit Jack you are really making this hard, no what I’ll call you back.”
      “Okay” he said before he hung up.  
  I really got to get over there now cause I can tell he’s vary unstable right now and that’s not good. In the rearview mirror I saw flashing lights, and pulled over. Then there was a tap on the car window.
     “Yes officer” I said
     “Well sir did you know you were doing 60 in a 35mph area” said the officer.
     “Sorry officer I was trying to get to my friends house cause there’s a chance he might kill himself if I didn’t get over there quickly.” The officer gave me a look like he didn’t believe me, then my phone rang and thank God it was Jack.
     “See officer this is him now, can I answer it” I asked and the officer gave me a nod, when I answered I put the phone on speaker.
      “Hello”
      “Were the hell are you”
       “Sorry I got stopped by the cops for speeding over to your house” then I heard a click so did the officer.
        “Jack what was that click”
         “Its my dads gun he left it here”
          “Jack what do you plan to do with that gun”
          “I don’t now maybe blow my brains out, it wont happen if you just get your ass over here” then he hung up. The officer had a worried look on his face, and I was worried.
         “Young man go over to your friend’s house I’ll call for back up, just give me your friends address.” Said the officer.
         “Okay its 135 Coken Dr.” Then I pulled off.
  Now for the hard part trying to talk Jack out of this crazy thing, and to contact Eddie.

   When I made it to Jack’s house all the lights were off, except his. The door was unlocked so I just went in.  Jack was in his room pacing back and forth with the gun in his hand.
   “Finally you’re here, so what are we going to do” he said
    “First your going to put down the gun then were going to call Eddie to see what’s up” I replied. He put the gun on the bed and I started to dial Eddie. I put him on speaker so we could both hear.
    “hello,” he sounded like he was sleep, like I’m supposed to be.
     “Hey Eddie, its me Sam, Jack told me what happened would you mind telling me why you did it”
      “Oh, your talking about that, why do you want to know”
      “I just do okay, I want know what possessed you to do that”
       “Simple it was Lizzy”
      “What do you mean Lizzy?”
       “I mean that I think Jack should be Lizzy, I can tell he doesn’t love me like he use to so I think it be better if he was with someone he actually love.”
    Then Jack budded in.
       “Eddie I do love you and I will never stop loving you, you hear me”
        “Yeah I here you, and you can still love me, but I love you more when you’re happy and I think your happy with Lizzy, okay, so be happy and ask her out, ask her out for me okay.”
         “I cant do that to you.”
          “You’re not understanding me, I want you to okay, I love you.” And Eddie just hung up.
     I could tell Jack couldn’t do that, but its for Eddie so he just might.
